Riding
We enjoy some of the
best roads in Australia for motorcycling, as well as some of the best scenery!
Enjoying every opportunity we ride as often as we can, meeting up three times
per week on average (mid-week, as well as Saturday afternoons and Sunday mornings
– refer to our Ride Calendar. Our rides take us to all
points of the compass, including the northern half of our beautiful island. On
long weekends we arrange overnight rides to more distant locations, in addition
to the usual weekend rides. To get an idea of what it is like to ride with us,
have a look at a few of our Ride Reports.
Socialising
While we do a lot of
riding, we also do a lot of socialising. Every ride has breaks for morning
and/or afternoon tea and meals where applicable, so we can grab a coffee and a
bite to eat and talk about motorbikes or other less important subjects.
We also get together
for an evening meal on the last Friday of each month – refer to the Social
Calendar.
Facebook
page
We utilise a Ulysses Hobart Branch group on Facebook, where we also post details of upcoming rides and social events, notices of meetings and where members post pictures and commentary on rides. The Facebook group is open only to Ulysses Hobart Branch members. If you would like to join the group, please visit https://www.facebook.com/groups/ulysseshobart/ and request to join.
